The centerpiece is the inspiration for this tablescape. The traditional red and gold give this table a traditional feel while the glitzy accessories give it a modern touch.
I am entering this on behalf of my Grandma who created this beautiful centerpiece for my Aunt. We didn’t intend to shoot a table like this but once I saw the centerpiece I couldn’t resist! Just goes to show you that inspiration can come from anywhere!!!
Centerpiece:
The base for this golden centerpiece is a basket shaped like a sleigh. Add florists then garnish with gold berries, candles, flowers and greenery. Tie a big gold bow to finish it off!
Tabletop & Place settings:
-
Use deep red chargers to brighten up the table and complement the gold centerpiece.
- White napkins pop against the red chargers. Shape pearly berry stems into napkin rings.
- Sprinkle a trail of gold discs in the path of the sleigh to look like snow and serve as a unique table runner.
- Use gold wine charms to distinguish glasses.

** Thanks to my Grandma for letting me take my pictures in her garage since my apartment was too small and poorly lit. Also thank you to my photog sister, Bailey, who let me use her oh-so fancy camera and attempting to teach me how to use it.
